CHRISTINA CONFROY
Your Wellbeing is the Foundation Your Family Builds On
Christina Confroy, LMFT
I've always been drawn to understanding what makes relationships work, but it wasn't until my parents divorced when I was 15 that I truly experienced the power of counseling firsthand. Going through that difficult time showed me just how vital communication, connection, and genuine support are within families—and how much healing is possible when you have the right guidance. That experience planted a seed that eventually grew into my career in counseling.
What I've come to understand deeply is that parents—especially mothers—are absolutely crucial in nurturing the mental health of children and teens. When we support moms, we're really supporting entire families. That's why I'm so passionate about Elevate Moms' mission. I believe that when we help mothers thrive, we create ripple effects that benefit everyone they love. My own journey through family struggle taught me that with the right support, families can not only heal but also become stronger than ever. That's the hope I bring to every family I work with.
I began my education at Appalachian State University, where I earned a B.S. in Psychology, then went on to complete my Master’s in Applied Family & Child Studies with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northern Illinois University. I am also licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

My Story
My Approach
I'm passionate about bringing hope to families in times of struggle, and my approach tends to be warm, playful, and engaging because I believe healing happens best when people feel genuinely comfortable and connected. I love helping clients better understand themselves within the context of their family relationships—those dynamics that shape so much of who we are.
Through a collaborative approach, I draw from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and Brainspotting for trauma work to create a welcoming and secure space where clients of all ages can explore their challenges. What really matters to me is offering practical interventions that you can actually use when it counts.
As a mother who has experienced pregnancy loss, I deeply understand the delicate balance of caring for yourself while also caring for the people you love. It's taught me so much about resilience, grace, and the importance of honoring your own journey. I ask only one thing of my clients: come as you are. Whatever you're carrying, whatever your story looks like, there's room for all of it here.
Beyond Counseling
Christina seeks out magic in the everyday moments with her husband of 13 years and their 3 elementary-aged children. She loves starting her day in God's word with a (sometimes) hot cup of coffee, reading books aloud to her kids, experiencing the Nashville music scene with her husband, and exploring the outdoors. When she's not out and about, you can find her building community with neighborhood moms, cooking while listening to an audiobook, or roping any willing participant into playing a board game.
Whether it's a spontaneous dance party in the kitchen or discovering a new hiking trail with her family, Christina believes that joy is found in both the planned adventures and the unexpected moments that make up daily life. Her home is often filled with laughter, the aroma of something delicious baking, and the comfortable chaos that comes with raising three curious and energetic kids. She loves writing, reading, and running, but more than anything else, she values building meaningful relationships with those around her.
I’m Here to Help
Sometimes families need extra support to get back to a place where they're truly thriving together. Whether you're dealing with behavioral challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, or trauma that's impacting your daily life, I'm here to help you find your way through it.
I know that asking for help can feel vulnerable, especially when it involves your family. That's exactly why I work hard to create a space where every family member—no matter their age—feels safe to share what's really going on. I hope to help you build stronger connections with each other while giving everyone the tools they need to handle life's ups and downs with more confidence.
Together, let’s explore what makes you uniquely you—your strengths, your purpose, what really matters deep down. It’s all about healing from whatever’s been holding you back and stepping into a life that’s truly fulfilling and joyful.
